Slow-made Ceramics for Conscious Spaces
One-of-a-kind handcrafted ceramics, taking inspiration from the broken, rusted, fragmented and imperfect things. Kara Sabi pieces are to be cherished for their inconsistencies and flaws, and thus asking the user to find beauty in their imperfections.
MEET THE ARTIST
KRITIKA SONI
Hi there, I am the hands behind Kara Sabi! I am a full-time, self-taught ceramic artist from Delhi, India, holding a Masters degree in Textile Design from Chelsea College of Arts, London. It is indeed here, where I explored clay as a medium for the first time and became friends with it.
After completing my studies, I worked in the Textile industry for some time but in 2016, I decided to switch to ceramics full-time. In 2018, I was awarded a Junior Fellowship in ‘Pottery and Ceramics’ by the Government of India, which definitely was a good morale booster!

Other than ceramics, yoga and green tea make me a very happy person! Oh and travelling makes me a very very happy person!
